Dinnissen has received a new ISO45001 certification this month from an independent institute. This certification is the new standard for work-related safety and health. ISO45001 is a tool to systematically implement the legal obligation for employers to carefully ensure the safety and health of employees. ISO 45001: the new standard for a demonstrably safe working environment
The ISO 45001 certification focuses on health and safety at work. During an audit, the certification institute determined that Dinnissen met the new requirements of the ISO 45001 certificate, and that we have a highly suitable system in place for caring for the health and safety of employees.
Safety and health of employees and visitors are priority number 1
In all facets of our organization, we deal with people. They can be employees, customers, suppliers but also visitors. For us, it is essential to ensure the safety and health of everyone involved in our organization. From this background, an integrated management system was created for healthy and safe working, certifiable according to the standard ISO 45001:2018. This standard serves as a tool for us to provide a framework for improving the safety of both our employees and other stakeholders, reducing workplace risks, and creating better and safer working conditions. As a result, this system helps us combat potentially negative consequences. In the process of meeting all the requirements, we received very pleasant and expert assistance from Stephanie Persoon of KVGM, a consulting company that assists with certification processes.

In 2021, the existing OHSAS 18001 certification was replaced by ISO45001 in the field of work-related health and safety. For Dinnissen, ensuring the health and safety of everyone is essential and indispensable.
