Year in review 2024

2024 was a year of innovation, growth, and internationalization. With the establishment of Dinnissen Pacific and Dinnissen UK, we further strengthened our global presence to better serve clients worldwide. Additionally, we received two prestigious awards recognizing our commitment to developing young technical talent. Furthermore, the successful renewals of four ISO certifications (without any non-conformities) underscored our dedication to quality, sustainability, and safety.

MiFood creates scientifically proven healthy mixes with custom R&D line from Dinnissen

MiFood, in collaboration with Dinnissen and the Nutritional Concepts Lab, has developed an R&D line for processing fruits and vegetables into healthy consumer products. Using a specially adapted Pegasus® Vacuum Coater, the line optimizes the bioactive compounds in the ingredients. This partnership delivers products that support better health and immunity, backed by a three-year scientific study.

Nutri-Dynamics chooses Dinnissen mixing solution for rapid and flexible mixing

Nutri-Dynamics, specialist in private label nutritional supplements, partnered with Dinnissen to establish a new production facility in Alkmaar. Sam Dimassi, Nutri-Dynamics' owner, highlights the efficient collaboration during the design phase, where Dinnissen optimized the production line layout. The installation features a Pegasus® Mixer with removable shafts, enabling quick and hygienic batch changes.

"We also considered other options, but on the points we considered most important – flexibility, cleaning, short mixing time, and a homogeneous end product – Dinnissen scored best."

Dinnissen Bag Emptying System saves two FTEs per truck

The DIMA® 1200 Bag Emptying System from Dinnissen has delivered significant savings for Steinweg, an international logistics player. Deployed at their Amsterdam facility specializing in cocoa processing, this automated machine reduces labor needs by automating the cutting and emptying of bags. Previously, it required three workers per truck, but only the driver is now needed, saving two FTEs per truck. This has increased efficiency, improved safety, and eliminated the risk of cutting incidents.

"Because Dinnissen supplied the entire installation, including platforms and safety installations, the entire line is CE-certified."

Emsland Group discovers the diversity of Dinnissen

Emsland Group, a leading player in the starch industry, first encountered Dinnissen by chance after purchasing a centrifugal sifter through a supplier. Impressed by its performance, they reached out to Dinnissen for further collaboration. Today, Emsland Group uses various Dinnissen machines at their Kyritz facility, where they process potatoes into high-quality potato starch.

"The processing speed fulfills our requirements. Also for the employees, Dinnissen's sifter is an improvement over previous installations."

Feed Design Lab and Dinnissen: 10 years of innovation in the feed industry

Feed Design Lab (FDL), a unique initiative co-founded by Dinnissen, has grown over the past ten years into a key center for innovation and sustainability in the feed industry. This European-based research and education center brings together the entire feed production chain to develop future-proof solutions. With 115 partners, FDL facilitates activities ranging from test productions to knowledge-sharing events, all aimed at making feed processes more sustainable.

20% increase in mixing capacity with Dinnissen mixer

AgruniekRijnvallei, a leading cooperative in the animal feed industry, optimized its production process in Barneveld this year by integrating a double-shaft paddle mixer from Dinnissen. Specializing in both conventional and organic poultry feed, this facility has significantly improved feed capacity and quality. Thanks to innovations like integrated sprayers for oils and fats, the feed is mixed more efficiently and without product damage.

"The mixer must handle the feed gently, and in this regard, it’s a significant upgrade from our previous equipment. From a technical perspective, it’s a top-tier, robust machine."
