Food safety and product quality requirements are continuously increasing. This makes sampling during the production process an increasingly intensive task. Dinnissen's Sample Carousel automatically changes the filling position, making it possible to take multiple samples without requiring an operator. In this way, the Sample Carousel ensures less labor and a minimal error margin. You can set the desired frequency, volume, and weight of the samples yourself.

A compact system

The frequency of sample taking and the amount of product that needs to be sampled, differ per organization and situation. We will work with you on a sampling plan that is tailored to your specific situation. The Sample Carousel is a compact installation that can be easily combined with our Sampling System. After sampling, the product quickly and hygienically ends up in a sample bag or jar.

Key features, options, and models  

Dinnissen's Sample Carousel can contain 5 to 20 filling positions and handles sample quantities between 25 and 1000 grams. Cleaning the Sample Carousel is easy because all product contact parts can be removed easily and without tools. Material certificates for all product contact parts are included with the Sample Carousel, such as 3.1 FDA requirements and EC1935/2010. The Sample Carousel has been developed in line with EHEGD requirements and is also available in an ATEX version.

How it works

Samples are often taken at a point where product flow is taking place. For example, at a silo feed pipe. Dinnissen attaches an extra ramification to the tube, allowing a sample to be taken at a pre-programmed frequency. The Sample Carousel is connected to this, enabling multiple samples to be taken fully automatically. The samples are collected in sample bags or cups. These bags and cups are attached to the system through a ring. The operator can easily lift this ring, after which the bag or cup can be detached. As a result, only one operator is needed to collect the samples when the process is completed.
