Sifting & Screening
The basics of sieving are simple: product is separated based on grain size. You divide the product into two groups: product that is fine enough to fall through the sieve and product that is not fine enough. While this basic principle applies to all our sifting solutions, the way product passes through the sieve can vary. Dinnissen provides various sifting solutions, operating by centrifugal force, vibration or gravity. Which sifting solution best suits your production process depends on the product. Whereas a Rotating Drum Sifting System is mainly used for sifting grains and pellets, a Centrifugal Sifting System is most often used for processing powders. So for each product, the best suitable sieve can be chosen.
