Mixing your product

When working with a variety of ingredients, it's crucial to bring them together into a homogeneous mixture, ensuring that every batch consistently matches the same composition. This reliability is essential for all organizations that include a mixing step in their production process. Dinnissen understands the importance of being able to rely on achieving the exact desired result every time. Pegasus® mixers are ideal for large quantities of products such as dough preparation for bread, dry animal feed mixtures, chemical powders, and milk powder blends. Additionally, Dinnissen offers solutions that can be used for testing and refining new recipes and formulations, such as the R&D Mixer. From small mixers with a volume of 10 liters to massive 15,000-liter mixers that can handle tons per batch, a Pegasus® mixer ensures a homogeneous end product every time. Continuous and Batch Mixer

When mixing large quantities and maintaining a consistent recipe over time, the Pegasus® Continuous Mixer can be an ideal solution. This compact mixer ensures a steady flow of mixed product by continuously feeding ingredients into the system, which is crucial for processes that require a constant recipe and large volumes. On the other hand, the Pegasus® Batch Mixer mixes ingredients in separate batches, as the name suggests.

Conditioner and 5-in-1 Mixer

If mixing needs to be done under specific conditions, the mixer can be adapted to meet those requirements. For example, the Pegasus® Conditioner adds steam or warm air to the mixing process, adjusting the moisture content of the product being mixed. The Pegasus® 5-in-1 Mixer, specially designed for the food industry, combines five processes: mixing, vacuum coating, drying, germination, and acidification. This machine saves time and costs by eliminating the need for transport between process steps.

Pegasus® Vacuum Coater

If the mixing process involves more than just homogenizing and spraying substances, the Pegasus® Vacuum Coater may be the right solution for your process. In this mixer, substances are mixed under vacuum, with minerals, vitamins, oils, and fats being sprayed onto the product. By releasing the vacuum, these substances penetrate deeply into every particle or chunk. Both mixers offer temperature control capabilities.

Pegasus® R&D Mixer

Looking for a smaller mixer for testing and experimenting with new formulations? The Pegasus® R&D Mixer is perfect for testing and developing recipes, with the ability to experiment with mixing time, rotation speed, and temperature. Food

In the food industry, mixers are used for various products, including spice blends, baking mixes, flavored snacks, baby food, breakfast cereals, cocoa powder, coffee powder, and more. Each type of mixer is designed to address the specific challenges of these products. For example, when producing baby food, it is crucial to avoid contamination between different batches, making a batch mixer ideal for the job. On the other hand, for mixing a baking mix with a consistent recipe, a continuous mixer is the perfect solution.

PETFOOD

The Vacuum Coater is particularly used in the petfood industry, where vacuum technology ensures each kibble is coated with as many nutrients as possible. Since these nutrients penetrate deep into the core of the kibble, more substances can be added while keeping the kibble dry. This application is also widely used in feed and aquafeed, alongside other mixers, to create a homogeneous final product in compound animal feed.

Chemical industry

Dinnissen mixers are also well-suited for the chemical industry, where, for example, an R&D mixer can be used to experiment with various compositions, which can then be scaled up for larger production runs.

Many of Dinnissen’s machines are available in ATEX versions, making them safe to use even in environments with explosion risks.
