100 days of Dinnissen Pacific

Dinnissen Pacific, the sixth branch of Dinnissen, has been operating in New Zealand for 100 days. Fons Kuijpers, who has been living on the other side of the world for some time, leads operations in both New Zealand and Australia from Auckland. Reflecting on the dynamic start, he says, “A lot has happened here in the first three months.”

Although Dinnissen Pacific is still in the start-up phase, operations in both New Zealand and Australia are already showing promise. “Internally, all processes are up and running, and we are in contact with both existing and new customers”, Kuijpers says. The positive start is further confirmed by the fact that several new projects have recently been secured through Dinnissen Pacific. This growth is a result of the company’s increasing presence and the confidence it has gained in the region.

A strong basis for success

Kuijpers points out that Dinnissen Pacific is very active in providing services and supplying spare parts. Additionally, there is significant interest in Dinnissen’s vacuum coating technology in both Australia and New Zealand. Pet food manufacturers see great potential in using this technology to improve their product quality. “There are plenty of business opportunities in this region, and interest in our machines is particularly high”, Kuijpers says.

Local advantage

Dinnissen’s name was already well-known in New Zealand, thanks to several major projects completed before the establishment of Dinnissen Pacific. These prior successes helped build brand awareness and trust in the region, laying a solid foundation for the branch’s launch. While Dinnissen was already an established name, the new branch added significant value by providing a local point of contact. “Dinnissen is a large organization, and it’s extremely valuable to have someone on-site who knows the company well and can quickly adapt to changing needs”, Kuijpers explains. “Furthermore, we can integrate them from the very first design phase by being familiar with local laws and regulations, such as IECEx/ATEX and EHEDG/HACCP guidelines. With local specialists, we offer customers targeted and efficient support.”

Future growth

Customers are already enthusiastic about the benefits of having a local presence, including faster and more direct service. The time difference and distance are no longer barriers. Although Dinnissen Pacific has only just completed its first 100 days, the branch is already looking ahead to further growth. The New Zealand office serves as a strategic hub to strengthen operations in both New Zealand and Australia, supporting Dinnissen’s mission to help producers worldwide create high-quality food products for people, livestock, and pets.
